17 high school girls made a pact to get pregnant at the same time....and they did!?!?

It seems to me that being unmarried and pregnant is cool for people these days. Most of what I hear on TV is meet "Alice" and her boyfriend "Mike". They have been together 4 years and have 2 kids together. "Alice" is 17. It's shoved in your face day after day. Don't these kids understand what they are doing? Having kids outside of marriage isn't cool. Raising a child on your own is hard work. It takes time and money. If you don't have a job how the heck are you supposed to take care of this infant that depends on you for everything. Where are the parents during all this. Haven't they stepped up and talked to their kids about and what it takes to raise a child? I think this boils down to poor parenting skills and society making this behavior look ok. People need to step up and raise their kids instead of letting them do whatever the heck they want to. What is this world coming to.
