Motorola cliq xt picture question?

i have the phone described in the title and i uploaded some pics from my computer to the phone yesterday. i saw them on the phone yesterday and today when i went through the pictures, most of them were replaced by a small like black box with a palm tree and a circle in it. im guessing the pictures can't be found or something. anyway i can fix it???
