1998 ford explorer left front brake grabbing?

Leaving home this morning. The left front brake was grabbing within a block from the house. My hearing is not the best and have been told that something has been grabbing. It may be the brake caliper,the brakes and rotors have been chaged about a year ago. At that time i was told the rotors were dark from wear. They replaced both pads and rotors then.
