Is this a bad sign??

I know this is probably silly and I'm not supersticious, I was just curious.. I was driving home one day when a crow landed in the middle of the road. And I couldnt swerve or stop because I was in peak hour traffic so I had to hit it [please dont make fun..it was kinda disturbing..I dont like hitting birds..] but the whole thing was creepy because the crow just stood there and watch me drive to it and hit it. It was almost suicidal :S. Is this an omen or one very depressed bird or am I just unlucky???? It's really annoying me.
