Do you think tony stark (iron man) is kind of a douche bag?

In the first iron man not so much but in the second one he started to seem much more like a d-bag with his smug attitude and the drinking. I remember reading a user review for iron man 2 and this lady said are smart suppose to be cheering for this guy.
