Can somebody explain to me the double usage of "vous" in french?

I am taking a full-time french cl and the teacher is 100% french, no english at all, and I can't seem to figure out the usage of vous vous in a sentence. Example: ("Comment vous vous s'appeler"). I can't find a single reference to this online but it is used in our textbooks all the time.. please help! :S
