Why cant a illegal mexican woman get food stamps for her 2 american children?

I have 2 american children the food stamps would be for them NOT for me, already receive medicaid and wic for them. What is the difference. Only income I receive is child support from both of their daddys. Cannot work because I have no ssn. Why cannot I receive food stamp when I can receive medicaid and WIC.
